Renovation to around 17 properties around Tredegars iconic Town Clock. The properties will provide a central hub for community led initiatives once restored. The renovation of the historic No. 10 the Circle, Tredegar will enable it to become a community resource. It will be occupied by like-minded organisations and accommodate TimeBanking Wales, Made in Tredegar and the offices of Festival of Social Justice. TimeBanking Wales purchased No, 10 the Circle to ensure that it remains within the community sector so that it can provide a central hub for community-led initiatives. The aims of TimeBanking Wales include building vibrant and sustainable communities by advocating timebanking which promotes, encourages and acknowledges active citizenship by using time as a currency. Made in Tredegar, a community film studio will also be based at No. 10 the Circle and involves people to make locally inspired films. Please see sheet.
