Project details below
Parc Trederlech
Parc Trederlech is located in the Rhymney neighbourhood of Cardiff and is adjacent to Lamby Way Landfill site. The park was opened to the public in 2003 and its main features include a four-hectare lake which is managed as a fishery by the Lamby Way fishing club, over two kilometres of public paths, a raised boardwalk across the lake and large conservation areas set aside for nature. The park is very popular with walkers and it links with the Wales Coast Path and the Rhymney Trail. Park facilities include litter bins, benches, picnic tables and a network of footpaths. After years of wear and tear many of the park’s features are in need of repair, upgrading and replacement and this project will provide the necessary resource to undertake these works.
