Project Detail

Our proposed project is the refurbishment of our existing 4 Lane net facility. The current facility has served the club for 13 years. Through regular maintenance and excellent up-keeping the facility has been utilised beyond its expected life span. During that period our club has grown significantly and in particular our junior section which has grown from approximately 30 at the time of the original instillation 13 years ago, to approximately 140 junior members today. In addition the club hosts 3 adult sides and has plans to introduce a midweek side, an over 40 side and a ladies side next year, allowing a greater number of people to access the game at our club. In order for us to provide the required standard of netting facility, we need to replace the old net facility with a new modern facility. This will enable us to develop the existing provisions we offer, whilst providing excellent opportunities to introduce the sport to new players irrespective of age, ability or gender within our community.
